Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

From your Search screen, you can export Global search result data, to create a new and separate CRPA project with selected knowledge, that is, with particular Sheets, Notes, Relations and Attachments.

Location of the export button

The 'Export results' button will lead you to the Export data screen:

Export data interface

You can export only the Notes and their Attachments from your search results, or include the Sheets they belong to and where they may be visualised and linked.

When you have many Notes and Sheets, it may take minutes before the export has ended. When the search results are successfully exported, the caption on the 'Export data!' button changes into 'Data exported!'

The results are written to disk, in the directory you selected in the export screen, as a CRPA project files. The following files each carry a different extension and need to stay together in the same directory, such as 'My CRPA files':

1.

filename.CRP

project file

2.

filename_not.dat

contains Notes

3.

filename_sht.dat

contains Sheets

4.

filename_att.dat

contains Attachments to Notes such as web-links, documents or programs (not links to other Notes)

5.

filename_lnk.dat

contains links between Notes on Sheets when they are visualized

6.

filename_pos.dat

contains positions of Notes on Sheets when they are visualized

7.

filename_rel.dat

contains names for the types of links used to connect Notes on Sheets when they are visualized.

After your present session, you can simply open this CRPA project or you can import it as new data into another CRPA project. Also, you could parse the files to be read by a database program.
